The Changing Geography of Uganda and Field Work Paper 3 by Ssekalega Abbas.

Geograpy paper three (P250/3) has been widely failed because of a number of reasons;

First there has been lack of relevant text books to the geography of Uganda and field work. Even big publishers dont have a copy because of the changing nature of the subject.

Secondly, often attempts by pamphlets on the market to explain the subject has been shallow, irelevant, draft obsolete material or lack the technicalities required by the Uganda National Examinational Board (UNEB). For example many pamphletsdont have well labelled diagrams/ sketch maps. Such maps are wrong and students dont score marks with such. Again many books just explain points without giving examples which lead to very low scores. Students have copied such and so failed the subject.

It is upon that background that the author who is a technical and currently practicing expert in the subject decided to produce the book.

This book attempts to provide a concise, comprehensive, and up to-date Geographical facts in Uganda and the technicalities involved in answering field work as well as section B at the advanced level.
