MK Secondary Agriculture Course MK Secondary Agriculture Course Books 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been designed to explain Agriculture as a science and a practice of farming, the growing of crops and rearing of animals. Agriculture becomes a science because it involves knowledge of other subjects like Geography Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It is also an art (practice) because it involves the knowledge of practical methods of doing farm operations, use of farm tools and their maintenance. Agriculture is divided into five branches, namely soil science, crop and animal husbandry, Agricultural Economics and Engineering.
The books are written in simple and suitable language. Each topiccontains relevant experiments and activities to make learning more interesting.
The books have several illustrations in form of drawings, diagrams, photographs and tables. The books cover the syllabus as spelt out by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC).
The topics covered in this book mainly cover the animal husbandry part of Agriculture.
