MK Secondary Agriculture Course MK Secondary Agriculture Course has been designed to explain agriculture as a Science and practice of farming, the growing of crops and rearing of animals. It becomes a Science because it involves knowledge of other subjects like Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

It is also an art (practice) because it involves knowledge of practical methods of doing farm operations use of farm tools and their maintenance. It is divided into 5 branches narmely Soil Science, Animal and Crop Husbandry, Agricultural Economics and Engineering.

The book is written in simple and suitable language. Each topic contains simple and relevant experimnents and activity to make learning more interesting.

The book has several illustrations in form of drawings, diagrams, photographs and tables and it covers the syllabus as spelt out by the Ministry of Education and Sports
