Geography of The Rest Of Africa, North America and Rhinelands. Ordinary Level Geography paper two (273/2) by Henry M. Kichodo
An attempt has been made to stategeographicalfactsand principles briefly and concisely, while at the same time making sure that basic information required is adequately obtained. A part from being used as a text book for Uganda Certificate of Education students, it is hoped that this book will serve as a reference for specialists and interested workers in related fields, who need to be familiar with background work and theory on the topics covered. Text questions are suggested at the end of each chapter. This is to examine the learners and reinforce their understanding of the facts, principles and procedures dealt with in the book. Wherever possible, illustrations have been given in form of maps, diagrams, photographs, tables, graphs, and drawings. These have not been included for their mere sake, but carry valuable information about the various topics were they are found. Suggestions have been included were the illustrations seem inadequate to cover the subject well. Such a case is an atlas which is indispensable in our study of geography. in addition, learners are encouraged to carry out practical activities suggested in this book to enhance their learning and skills in the subject.
