Monitor Primary Social Studies for Uganda is a new seven-level course based on the new Uganda Primary Schools Social Studies syllabus.

The course entails an integrated content coveringthe Uganda Primary School syllabus. The pupils books have simple, clear and easy to read text. The text is backed by lively illustrations with clear messages.

The books contain a variety of questions and exercises for both individual and group work.

The language level and examples are suitable for both rural and urban pupils. The issues of gender balance and people with disability have been addressed.

A resourceful teachers' guide is available at each level of the course. Each teachers' guide book offers detailed and practical guidance with emphasis on both a child centered and a hands on approach to teaching Social Studies.

The course has been written by experienced Social Studies teachers with technical advice from subject specialists.
