Short Vowel Sounds Teaching Guide

THE SHORT SOUND SERIES  are the first set of five books in the Oasis Sound Series (ranzophonics) and have been designed to help beginning readers master the short vowel sounds. This teaching guide has been designed to give  parents and teachers of beginning readers of English - as a foreign language the tools they need to become skilled readers who love to read.

The book is systematically structured, with a simple introduction to the vowel sound, related word lists, phonetic story, phonetic song. and critical thinking activities. Additionally, key words are repeated several times in each book to help the reader build confidence while also obtaining a firm foundation for future reading success.
