Baroque Senior two CRE Learner's Book

Baroque Senior Two Christian Religious Education (C. R. E.) Learner's Book has been developed basing on the New Lower Secondary School Curriculum, whose aim is to enable learners to make informed decisions as citizens and family members and to give them the learning skills they need to think critically and study efficiently.

The Learner's Book has been designed to allow learners to acquire spiritual and moral development. It aims at developing awareness and appreciation of the value of an individual in the entire society. The contents of the book focus on enabling the learner to develop not only spirituality but also an understanding of MAN'S SOCIAL RELATIONS.

This book caters for the different learning styles and needs, which requires the learner to interact with real-life situations both inside and outside the classroom.

The following aspects have been considered while developing the content of this book; respect for human life, awareness of the importance of living in harmony with the environment, and independent and critical thinking.

On completion of this course of study, the learner should;

• be responsible for his/her own learning,
• transform himself/herself and the society at large,
• develop his/her own understanding of the different concepts,
• become a critical thinker, who is ready to face new challenges and situations,
• develop the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
