Baroque Integrated Science book 5

The Baroque Primary Five Integrated Science Pupil's Book has been developed in conformity with the reviewed Upper Primary Curriculum of the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC).

The Primary Five Pupil's Book addresses eight themes that have been broken down into twelve topics. This book provides learners with knowledge, skills, the desired attitudes and values on basic science, health education, agriculture and the environment that are important to them for final assessment of the primary cycle.

A generic picture and an introduction have been provided for each topic to trigger the learner's thinking as well as capture his/her attention for the topic. The Primary Five Pupil's Book has been developed using learner-centred

approaches which have made the book user friendly. The content of this book is appropriate, accurate and most current.

The book further has continuous assessment exercises that assess the pupil's understanding of the content and their ability to consolidate what was acquired in earlier classes.

The content of this book will not only prepare pupils for the final assessment of Primary Education cycle but it will also equip pupils with practical knowledge and skills which are essential in the aspects of their everyday life.

This Pupil's Book has been approved for use in both government and private schools by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) and the Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES).
