JOHNIOUS TUMUSIIME

I myself read this great book of Mr. Nsamba Gonzaga. It is a really great one! You don't have to read it just because you are a student or teacher of history... In fact, I am myself not a teacher of history. I teach English Language in Primary. I did not even attend A-Level! This book helped me to understand further the meaning of African Nationalism and Patriotism. I often use it for reference while discussing patriotism and nationalistic affairs with my colleagues everywhere! Nsamba Gonzaga, in this book expresses African Nationalism as "the strong desire for self-determinations, independence by all Africans within Africa and diaspora. It is the natural love and pride which Africans have for their continent. It is also a strong sentiment against the foreign domination and a belief that European colonialism to Africa was a great hindrance to Africa's economic growth and development. It is therefore a strong hatred to colonialism and neo colonialism." Thank you Mr. Gonzaga!
